I can't believe it's already been 2 years since I joined this awesome community of artists and art enthusiasts! :la:

Pencil again

Hello, my dear watchers! :iconaawplz::hug: ^^
I've been feeling quite down about something and I've come to a decision and I thought I'd share it all with you guys.

My recent artworks...

I've been doing a lot of digital artwork lately.
So just a little while ago I tried to do traditional artwork, but...
... I feel like I've forgotten how to hold a pencil. It literally feels like I've never held one before. The pencil feels strange in my hand, it feels so foreign. 
I remember when my pencil used to be my best friend... now, I feel like it doesn't like me. Or maybe I've just been neglecting it a lot. Ughh I probably don't make any sense to you guys but that is kind of the way I see things
Point is, I feel very down about this and I need to make the pencil my friend again. 

With that being said, I'm going to go back to traditional art for a while. I'll be posting all sketches and WIPs on my Instagram, Mahnoor.K1, and then final artworks here on DA.


So you can expect more mixed media artworks from now (drawn traditionally and coloured digitally), artworks like these...

I guess it's just that I really miss having a pencil in my right hand, and an eraser in my left.
It isn't that I won't do digital artwork from now, just that I will also be doing traditional artwork.  Feel free to follow me on my Instagram to join me on my journey back to traditional artwork again, where I'll post WIPs and sketches. I will be, however, uploading final artworks here on DA.
